Chestermere! We did it! I am humbled by the confidence that the residents of Chestermere have put in me and the new Council. It was a resounding victory with 3,297 votes cast in my favour putting me in first place for Council candidates. I am blown away!
Congratulations to all candidates. It takes guts to put your name on the ballot. I appreciate the commitment and diligence everyone put into this campaign. To the other candidates that won, I am looking forward to working together to make our City even better.
I know there is lots to be done in our community and I’m excited to be moving Chestermere forward, together. I know our new team has 15 months till the general election to prove to our citizens they made the right choice. I’m not afraid of hard work and I am determined to put Chestermere on the path of improved infrastructure, new schools and more business development. I’m ready to get started! Let’s build a better Chestermere together.
Congrats to your new Council: Mayor-Elect Shannon Dean and Councillors: Janelle Sandboe, Murray Grant, Robert Schindler, and Kiran Randhawa.

Email to Rob:
Good morning Rob,
I wanted to thank you for responding to my email yesterday and subsequent visit to my home .
It was refreshing to have a candidate be available for a “one on one” discussion regarding your vision for the City of Chestermere.
After our long conversation regarding some of the city's current issues and your vision for a path forward, my Wife and I have decided to support your candidacy.
Finally, we will encourage our friends and neighbours to review your platform
so they can make an informed decision at the ballot box.
Best regards to you and your team.
- Tom and Robin Strowbridge
I have known Rob for the past four years as our neighbour. As soon as Rob announced his bid for Council I told him I would help him with whatever he needed.
I know Rob as my friend first, not a politician.
We don't have a fence between our properties and our kids share our backyards, playing together often. I think that says a lot about neighbours if you can get along in that way. When ever my husband is away Rob is out shoveling our driveway or mowing our lawn or putting our garbage bins out. I have never asked him to help, he just always has.
You can read Rob's LinkedIn profile linked to this website and all the information about him. It is obvious he is a smart and accomplished guy. I want you to know about his character and what type of person he is. I have got to know him really well over the past four years, so I confidently vouch for his good character, and I know he will always act with integrity on Council.

I have been with Rob for 18 years and we have a beautiful 11 year old daughter together. Rob and I are teammates. We have been through many challenges together as most couples have. Rob has been my rock, supporting me through my diagnosis with Lupus 14 years ago, building my real estate career, building a family and a home.
We used to flip houses often, moving every few years, but once we bought our house in Chestermere 9 years ago, we have lived here the longest. Now, our plan is to pass this house onto our daughter one day. We love it so much in Chestermere, which is a large reason why Rob is running. We have a vested interest in protecting this gem of a community and building it to be the best it can be.
The challenges Chestermere faces right now are concerning but I know my husband is up to the task. He has always given any project in life 100% effort - he is a hard worker, a big thinker with lots of energy to give. I encourage you to cast your vote for Rob!
